The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced an exciting recruitment drive, inviting eligible candidates to apply for 82 positions, including Deputy Superintending Archaeologist and Cabin Safety Inspector. Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

2. Postgraduate Diploma in Archaeology or three years of field experience.

Cabin Safety Inspector1. 10+2 from a recognized Board.
2. Ten years’ experience as a Cabin Crew.
1. Bachelor’s Degree.
2. One year as DGCA-approved SEP Instructor.

Age Limit

The UPSC has specified the maximum age limit for the positions:

Deputy Superintending Archaeologist

  • UR/EWS: 35 years
  • OBC: 38 years
  • SC/ST: 40 years
  • PwBD: 45 years

Cabin Safety Inspector

  • UR/EWS: 40 years
  • OBC: 43 years
  • SC/ST: 45 years
  • PwBD: 50 years

Selection Process

  • The selection process for these posts will be based on the candidate’s performance in the Recruitment Test (if conducted), followed by an interview. The Recruitment Test, if held, will have a weightage in the ratio of 75:25 with the interview marks.
  • Candidates must meet the category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, with UR/EWS requiring 50 marks, OBC 45 marks, and SC/ST/PwBD 40 marks out of a total of 100 marks. Candidates who meet the minimum criteria in the Recruitment Test will be called for an interview, where they must present original documents and certificates as proof of their qualifications and experience.

Application Fee

  • Candidates, except for females, SC/ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 25. The fee can be paid online through net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI payment. Candidates from exempt categories are not required to pay any fee.
