The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is planning to hold the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examinations soon. This exam is an important step for people who want to work for the government, as there are 9,583 vacancies for MTS and Havaldar positions across several departments.
The SSC began accepting online applications on June 27, 2024, with a July 31, 2024 deadline. Due to tremendous demand and the need to admit more candidates, the deadline was later extended to August 3, 2024.
Candidates who applied for the exam are impatiently waiting for their SSC MTS admit cards. Selection Process

Paper Pattern and Exam Schedule
- The examination will be conducted online.
- The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) consists of two sessions, with each session lasting 45 minutes.
- The questions will be objective type and set in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages.
- There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Session 2, and there will be no negative marking in Session 1.

When the time comes, follow these steps to get your hands on that all-important admit card:
- Head to ssc.nic.in
- Look for the “Admit Card” link on the homepage
- Choose your region from the list of SSC regional websites
- Enter your registration number and date of birth
- Hit “Submit”
- Voila! Your admit card appears on the screen
- Download and print it for safekeeping.
