Mahindra Thar Roxx Power and Performance
There are two engine options for the Roxx: a 2.0L mStallion turbo-petrol and a 2.2L mHawk turbo-diesel. There are two gearbox options available for these: 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT. Additionally, there are many tuning states available for these engine selections. With the manual gearbox, the turbo-petrol can produce up to 330 Nm of maximum torque and 162 horsepower at its highest power output.
However, when an automatic is used, the max outputs increase to 177 horsepower and 380 torque. Turning now to the oil burner, the stick shift version produces a rated output of 152 horsepower and 330 torque, while the automatic transmission increases these figures to 175 horsepower and 370 torque.
Mahindra Thar Roxx Interior
The Thar Rocks gets the same dashboard as the 3-door on the inside. But there are some premium elements like soft-touch material on the dashboard and door pads. The interior is decorated with a dual-tone theme with beige color and dark dashboard with some contrast bits. Dual 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and instrumentation in the top trims make its cabin even better.
Among the many features and comforts Mahindra offers are soft-touch materials on the dashboard, front and rear armrests, rear AC vents, auto-dimming IRVM, an internally controlled gasoline filler cap, keyless entry, and push-button start. The largest convenience improvement has to be the larger boot and rear doors with easy access to the second row.
Thar Roxx has a camera-based Level-2 ADAS system, which is comparable to what we saw in the Mahindra XUV3XO, when it comes to safety. Other noteworthy safety features include all-four disc brakes, six airbags, TCS, TPMS, and ESP. Mahindra is providing Crawl Smart Assist (CSA), Intelli Turn Assist (ITA), and an electronically locking rear diff to help with off-road adventures.
