Primary Teacher (PRT)

• Education: 12th class with a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from an approved institution
• CTET: Must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject and B.Ed. from an approved college or university
• CTET: Must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

• Education: Master’s degree in the concerned subject (e.g., PCM, Science, Physical Education) and B.Ed. from an approved institution
• CTET: Must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
