Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Indian Navy SSR Medical Assistant Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB)
- Minimum 50% aggregate and 40% in each subject
Age Limit:
- Born between November 1, 2003, and April 30, 2007.
Selection Process
The selection process for the SSR (Medical Assistant) 02/2024 batch involves two main stages:
- Shortlist: Based on the 10+2 PCB marks, a state-wise cut-off is applicable.
- Phase II Examination: This includes a Physical Fitness Test (PFT), a Written Test, and a Recruitment Medical Test.
The merit list is made based on Stage II performance, with medical fitness as a factor. Candidates who are deemed ineligible can appeal within five days. The final selection is based on the merit list, PFT result, and medical fitness.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is mandatory for selection. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk. PFT standard is as follows:

- Squats (Uthak Baithak):- 20
- Push-ups:- 15
- Bent Knee Sit-ups:- 15
