Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

To qualify for the CISF Fireman position, you need:

  1. A 10th-grade pass certificate
  2. ITI diploma in Firefighting

Age Limit

  • The CISF seeks young and energetic individuals for this role. You must be between 18-23 years old as of September 30, 2024, to apply.

Selection Process

The CISF has designed a comprehensive selection process to ensure they recruit the best candidates. Let’s dive into each stage:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

  • The PET will assess your physical fitness and stamina. You’ll need to complete a 5 km run in 24 minutes or less. This test ensures you have the endurance required for the demanding role of a firefighter.

2. Physical Standard Test (PST)

The PST checks if you meet the physical requirements for the job:

  • Height: Minimum 170 cm
  • Chest: 80-85 cm (with expansion)

3. Document Verification

  • If you clear the PET and PST, the CISF will verify your documents. Ensure you have all required certificates and proofs ready.

4. Written Test

  • The written exam tests your knowledge and aptitude. It consists of four parts:
