The BSSC published advertisement no. 02/2023, inviting online applications from eligible candidates. Initially, the registration window spanned from September 27 to November 11, 2023. However, the commission extended the deadline to December 11, 2023, giving more aspirants a chance to apply.

Selection Process
The BSSC follows a two-stage selection process for the Inter-Level examination:
- Preliminary Examination
- Mains Examination
Candidates must first clear the preliminary exam to advance to the next stage. The commission will shortlist successful candidates based on their prelims performance for the Main Examination. Those who excel in both stages will need to present their original documents for verification.
Inter-Level Exam Pattern

- The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Each question carries 4 marks.
- The exam has a negative marking system: 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
- Questions will appear in both Hindi and English.
- Candidates have 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete the exam.
