Eligible Criteria

Here’s what you need to know:

Educational Qualifications

  • For Forest Guard, Fireman, Constable, and Lady Constable: You must have passed Class X or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • For Laboratory Attendant: A Matriculation certificate from a recognized board is required.
  • For Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): You should have passed Class X, ITI, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or Institution.

Age Limits

As of September 9, 2024, your age should fall within these ranges:

  • Forest Guard and Fireman: 18 to 32 years
  • Constable (Civil Police, AAPBN, IRBN) and Lady Constable: 18 to 22 years
  • Laboratory Attendant and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): 18 to 35 years

Age relaxation:

  • APST Candidates: 5 years relaxation
  • PwBD Candidates: 10 years (15 years for APST)
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms.

Selection Process

The APSSB has designed a comprehensive selection process to ensure they choose the best candidates. Here’s what you can expect:

1. Written Examination

This is an objective-type multiple-choice exam covering four main areas:

  • General Awareness
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning
  • Arithmetical & Numerical Ability
  • English Language & Comprehension

2. Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
