Lek Ladki Yojana: Maharashtra government has started this scheme for the girls of its rice, through which the government will provide them financial assistance. This scheme was started by the government on 1 April 2023. Through this scheme, from the birth of daughters till the age of 18 years, the government of Maharashtra will provide them financial assistance of ₹101000 under this scheme. So that this amount can give them work in their bright future.
Through the Maharashtra government’s “Lek Ladki Yojana”, the daughters of the state will be given financial assistance of one lakh one thousand rupees from birth till they grow up. This assistance amount will be provided in five different phases, so that girls can complete their education without any financial burden. Through this scheme, assistance will be provided by the Government of Maharashtra, due to which the families of the state will not have to worry about the education and marriage of their daughters.
Lek Ladki Yojana not only gives financial assistance but also gives an important message to girls to become self-reliant. Through this, daughters will not only be empowered but the path of their bright future will also be paved. Apart from this, “Lek Ladki Yojana” will play an important role in changing the negative thinking towards daughters in the society and giving them an equal status.
Maharashtra Lek Ladki Yojana 2024
Maharashtra Le Ladki Yojana has been started by the Government of Maharashtra on 1 April 2023, through which the government will provide them financial assistance from birth to the age of 18 years. Through this scheme, the Government of Maharashtra will provide financial assistance of ₹101000 to the daughters from birth to 18 years under this scheme.
The state government has launched the “Lake Ladki Yojana” with the aim of financially empowering the future of girls. The yellow and orange ration card holder families of the state will get the benefit of this scheme. If a girl is born in such a family, then she will be provided an assistance amount of Rs 5,000 at the time of birth.
When the girl becomes eligible to go to school, she will get financial assistance of Rs 4,000 in the first class. After this, Rs 6,000 will be given when she reaches the sixth class, and in the eleventh class she will get a grant of Rs 8,000. When she turns 18, she will be given Rs 75,000 by the state government. Thus, in total, the girl will be provided financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh 1 thousand.
The main objective of “Maharashtra Lek Ladki Yojana 2024” is to provide financial assistance to the daughters of economically weaker families of the state from birth to their education. Through this scheme, it will help to change the negative perceptions towards daughters in the society and prevent bad practices like female foeticide. When the girl turns 18, she will be given a lump sum amount of Rs 75,000 by the government, which will act as an incentive for her bright future and higher education.
Maharashtra Lek Ladki Yojana Benefits
- An assistance of Rs 5,000 will be given to the family on the birth of a girl child.
- Financial assistance of Rs 4,000 will be given on admission in class 1.
- 6,000 rupees will be provided on admission to class VI.
- An assistance of Rs 8,000 will be given on admission in class 11th.
- On completion of 18 years of age, a lump sum amount of Rs 75,000 will be given, which can be used for his/her higher education or marriage.
“Maharashtra Lek Ladki Yojana” will not only improve the education and social status of girls, but will also help in making them self-reliant and empowered. This scheme will play an important role in making the future of daughters bright and motivating them to pursue higher education. Maharashtra Lek Ladki Yojana Eligibility
- If you are a native of Maharashtra, you will get the benefit of this scheme.
- Those who are born before 1 April 2023 will get the benefit of this scheme.
- Those who have yellow or bare ration card will get the benefit of this scheme.
- If your annual income is ₹ 100000 or less then you will get the benefit of this scheme.
- Your family member should not have a government job.
- If any member of your family pays income tax then you will not get the benefit of this scheme.

- Firstly, get the application form of the scheme from any government department.
- Fill all the information asked in the form carefully and correctly.
- Attach all required documents along with the form.
- Submit the filled application form to the Anganwadi Supervisor Officer.
- Your form will be checked by the Anganwadi Supervisor Officer and sent to the Zilla Parishad office.
- After your application is reviewed at the Zilla Parishad office, it will be included in the approved list for the scheme.
- You will receive information about your application being approved through SMS.
- After this, you will start receiving funds in your bank account under the scheme.
